"We had a lovely three-night vacation at The Muse Amsterdam.\nThe room was very small but sufficient for our needs. There was air conditioning, but we barely used it because it blew directly onto the bed — a bit too efficiently. Instead, we kept the window open, which was possible since the street outside was very quiet at night. The location was excellent, with a tram stop just one block away.\n\nWe appreciated the complimentary minibar, which included soft drinks and water. The bathroom was great, with a decent shower and plenty of warm water. Shampoo, body wash, and body lotion were provided, though there was no hair conditioner.\n\nThe tap water was safe to drink.\nThe backyard garden was closed at night."

"Room was nice. We had #3, basement family room. I am glad I had my eye mask because the room was bright at night with the summer daylight hours. The beds and sheets were super comfy. The room was very clean. Upon arrival we were greeted with a complimentary mini wine bottle which was nice. We were told we had free restocking of the mini bar, but after the first day it was not restocked. However, we didn't mind too much as we used the fridge to store our snacks instead.\n\nService was great. We did not buy the breakfast on offer but were told we could have coffee/tea/water and use of the dining room and courtyard 24/7. Kids loved The Resident Cat. We are finding that some adults in cities on our Europe holiday are not very tolerant of our hyperactive children, but the people at The Muse were very patient and did not seem to mind at all.\n\nLocation great with tram stops very close by, and bus stop from Schipol only about 10 minutes walk away. Very quiet area. Ear plugs were provided but we did not need them.\n\nWould stay again! Thank you."

"Location was fantastic (close to the station, Rijksmuseum and a wide variety of restaurants)\nStaff at the front desk was lovely.\nRooms were very small, the bed took almost the whole space. We stayed for two nights only so it wasn’t the major problem. The walls were very thin, you could hear everything from the surrounding rooms.\nBreakfast was enough for us, quite simple but tasty.\nThe highlight was unlimited drinks from the cafeteria- tea, coffee, still and sparkling water available at any time of the day."
