"Worst hotel experience in the Netherlands – 3/10\n\nI’ve stayed in over 30 hotels, and this was by far the worst experience I’ve had. The room felt like a basement — no windows, no ventilation, constantly humid. There was no tea, coffee, or even hot water available. Strange noises all night made it impossible to rest.\n\nThe bathroom had no door on the shower, so water spilled all over the floor and never dried due to the lack of airflow. Only two towels were provided for the entire stay.\n\nCheck-in was a disaster. We had to wait for two hours because, although we could pay for the room with a local Dutch card, the €100 deposit could only be paid with a credit card. How is it even possible that in the Netherlands a local card is not accepted for a deposit?\n\nThe prices are high, but the room was extremely small — just a bed and barely any space to move. Also, there are no shops or supermarkets nearby, which makes it even more inconvenient.\n\nOverall, this place was a huge disappointment. Avoid if you can."
