"Staff is really nice and helpful, location is super convenient, but can be a bit seedy downstairs/outside near the station. You can't really change the temperature in the room. When there was a heat wave, the room wouldn't go any lower than 23.5 C, and the guy at the front desk said it can't be changed.\n\nMy bed needed a new mattress - I could feel the springs digging into my back. There's also only one light switch for everything in the room, so it's either dark, or way too bright. Bathroom was decent, and the shower was good.\n\nBreakfast was pretty good, and had plenty of tables.\n\nI would stay here for a place to sleep and for the convenience of the train station. Nothing fancy, and it could use a really good deep cleaning, but I'm happy overall with my stay."

"Very good location to start your Amsterdam adventure. Right next to the slotterdyk rail and metro station. One stop from Amsterdam Central and 2 stops to the airport.\nThe bathroom was squeaky clean, and so was the room. We found a classical music station on the TV. The bed was a double size and the only drawback for this hotel. For 2 people with a 6.2 foot height, a real challenge. Also, there is only one blanket. The free breakfast was a European style breakfast buffet, plentiful with a good selection of breads, cold cuts, and boiling eggs. The coffee machine made taste and strong coffee. Everyone was pleasant and polite.\nIt is a good value, a perfect location. I was here before and will return."

"I am generally a fan of the Holiday Inn series, especially appreciating their clean facilities and excellent maintenance. This place was no exception, I was very satisfied with the room. Considering the price, it was a great value for money. I was happy to be assigned a spacious room with a nice view.\n\nWhat I liked most was the neighborhood. The tram stop was very close to the hotel, and there was a supermarket nearby, making everything very convenient. The area felt quiet and relatively safe, and transportation was easy, which was a big plus.\n\nThe hotel itself was comfortable, and the reception staff were kind, allowing me to have a satisfying stay.\n\nThe only downside I could mention was the breakfast. Usually, when booking a Holiday Inn, breakfast is included, so I expected a bit more. The breakfast was rather modest, and the buffet didn’t seem to be replenished sufficiently.\n\nAside from that, everything else was very satisfying."
