"The location is amazing, the service, competent and friendly, and the rooms were rather comfortable. All in all, good value for money and recommendable. The blankets were so narrow that it took an effort to stay completely covered, and I’m a normal sized person. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. Some facilities were old or broken. The AC in our room was leaking out water into the room, the dripping of which kept me awake one night. But they changed our room immediately as soon as I informed them the next day. One faucet was broken and you had to put the pin back in each time it fell out. The faucets were old-fashioned and it was a little bit difficult to adjust the water temperature. The walking noise of the room above was audible and irritating late at night or early in the morning."

"We had a lovely stay at RHO Hotel Amsterdam. We initially had an issue with the first room we were given, but the staff were very professional and quickly offered us an alternative room to move into the following day. The service here is very friendly and helpful, and we could not thank Stella enough for her help with changing our room and making us feel welcomed for the entirety of our stay. Thank you so much again, Stella!"

"I have debated over and over whether to post this since I assured the manager i wouldn't but unfortunately I feel ethically compelled to share our experience.\n\nWe were so happy with the location, price and service and went to bed on cloud 9... only to be woken up by my husband at 4am in sheer panic. There were bed bugs ALL over the room. Walls, carpets bedding, bathroom. They were all in various stages of their lives which leads me to believe they have been there some time\n\nThe manager was very apologetic and professional and provided an entire refund. The night desk man was so kind and considerate. Unfortunately, the damage has already been done. I am covered in bites. From my neck to the bottom of my feet.\n\nIm posting not to disparage the hotel but to encourage guests to ask questions and look carefully (we looked at the mattress before hand and couldn't see anything but had visited a coffee shop prior).... they promised they'd treat the room and wouldn't rent it (111) and I hope they were honest but given the various stages of the bed bugs I find it really hard to believe they didnt know"
