"The real wrongest place where to stay.\nWe were supposed to stay for 7 days in October but we needed to go away after two nights.\nOur room (N 18) was a real mess, since the beginning we’ve been telling the staff that the room was really wet and the warmers not going.\nAfter sleeping we were waking up with wet clothes and bad cold. We asked for a room change but nothing happened. After the first morning we found a staff person inside our room making painting works on the walls inside the toilet without any warning. After many help requests at the staff we’ve been not helped at all and they said that everything was good, also by many excuses like “the temperature is high, you Italian are pus*****” they gave us no solutions so after two days we needed to find another place where to stay losing all the money we spent.\nWe also requested for the deposit (of 150€) back but they cheated on us saying they sent it back. Never happened even after many emails we sent and 15 calls. This is the worst structure in Europe, DON’T GO TO THIS PLACE if you want to enjoy Amsterdam. The city is not cheap but at the same price or few euros more you can find really better places."

"Great service and a warm welcome at reception! The hotel has a lovely, atmospheric decor, and the beds are incredibly comfortable. The shower could be a bit better, but overall, it’s definitely worth staying here if you want to sleep right in the heart of Amsterdam."

"Overall, I enjoyed my stay at the Rembrandtplein Hotel. It is a small European boutique hotel with 20 rooms overlooking a canal and well located in Central Amsterdam.\n\nThe owner, Tiko, and his wife, Elena, are very pleasant. One of the workers, Christina, is also a delight. She deserves a raise :). All of them were attentive, kind and went out of there way to be helpful. They all helped make our stay more enjoyable.\n\nMy friend and I stayed in separate rooms on the first floor, which is one narrow flight of stairs up. There is no lift (elevator). The walls are quite thin. My friend commented that she could hear everything I said while we were each in our own rooms and when I walked around my room.\n\nMy room with its double bed was relatively small with about 15 inches between the foot of the bed and the wall to pass through when crossing from one side of the room to the other side. So getting around the room was tight.\n\nThere is no luggage rack. I put the two sitting chairs front to front to hold my luggage.\n\nThe bed was very comfortable. The room was fairly clean and the bathroom, though small, was clean and modern. The towels were changed upon request. This is no soap or shampoo provided. Be sure to bring your own.\n\nOverall, if you don't require much space or can adapt to a small room, I would recommend Rembrandtplein Hotel, primarily for its location and very kind staff."
