"Pros:\n- Fantastic location with easy transport connections. The 24/7 reception was a big plus, and the staff were incredibly cheerful and helpful throughout our stay.\n- Our room was clean, had good ventilation, and we really appreciated the fan during the warmer days.\n- The hotel is tucked away on a quiet street, so we slept really well—no noise at all at night.\n\nCons:\n- The room was very minimal. No kettle, tea or coffee, or mugs. There was basic soap in the bathroom, and while you can ask for a toothbrush and toothpaste at reception, it would’ve been nice to have some amenities already available.\n- Water pressure was extremely weak, and the hair dryer barely worked. I had to wake up 15 minutes earlier just to have enough time to shower and (try to) dry my hair. Eventually, I gave up and let it air dry.\n- The shower area is very small. Both my mom and I are petite, and we still kept bumping into the walls. I can’t imagine how uncomfortable it would be for someone taller or bigger."

"The Owl Hotel is located near many popular sites while also being in a quiet neighborhood. It felt safe, and the hotel staff were very friendly. The room was very clean. The shower was a bit small, and there is no AC. We went in May, and the window allowed the perfect amount of air flow. There was also a lift, and that helped because we were staying on the top floor. I would absolutely stay again!"

"Overall it met my expectations and reception was helpful when needed help. Considering that most accomodations are expensive in Amsterdam the price feels reasonable for the location (at least when I visited).\n\nIt felt clean in general\n\nStaff was helpful and even helped me check in earlier then check in time.\n\nPlus that you have greenery outside the window which makes area more quiet.\n\nBe aware before booking.\n* You will here your neighbor and hallway even if not are not particularly loud. Earplug is recommended if not heavy sleeper. As already mentioned, the area is quiet however.\n* I was there in end of may when around 20 degrees Celsius daytime and room got pretty warm at night. So might get warm during summer, it should be ok to open window though since no street noice outside\n\nNice with direct bus to airport very close and the nice Vondelpark and Foodhallen is nearby."
