"Hotel was centrally located, close to attractions, bars and restaurants. Staff really friendly and helpful. Was able to pay cash and have my laundry done there, washed and folded - placed in my room. Cannot recommend this place enough. Be warned though- stairs in hotel are very steep and narrow ( they will help with bags up and down) and rooms are small. I stayed for 4 nights and didn’t find this an issue as I spent a lot of time outside the room. Great for solo travellers - will def stay again if I’m back in Amsterdam"

"The staff were great! The room is small, but the bed is comfortable. The location is central. It’s very close to the Anne Frank house and the canal cruises. It was a great experience. I would recommend it to everyone and I’ll be back!"

"Old property. The rooms are extremely small, comparable to a compact cabin but with fewer facilitiesand the bathrooms are so tiny you can sit on the toilet and shower at the same time.\n\nThe furniture is old and the building feels unsafe with steep stairs, and it’s totally unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues. The reception is located literally on the 2nd floor so you can to carry your luggage till there over those steep stairs.\n\nRooms are hot, with no air conditioning, and too noisy to keep windows open as there is some road / tram track construction work going on from ages.\n\nThe bed is uncomfortable and old and literally gave me back-pains till I checked out. Breakfast is very basic, the hotel needs serious investment before charging guests these rates.\n\nThe only positive is its convenient location as its near to canals and tram station which is 5 mins walk away."
