"Centrally located and clean place to stay. They have air conditioning, which was very helpful during a heat wave, and twin beds available.\n\nThere is an elevator which is great since the stairs are a bit narrow like most buildings in the city.\n\nThe only downside was that the toilet room was very small. I'm not very tall or long legged, and I could not really keep my legs in the room easily since it was so small. But we made the best of it, and the price and location can't be beaten!"

"Do not recommend this hotel.\nThe staff of the hotel is extremely friendly, the hotel is located five minutes from the train station and is in an incredibly central location of Amsterdam.\nThe price / quality ratio of the room however are incredibly disappointing: the "comfort" rooms have barely any space to move in and still have a high price tag.\nThe bed usually takes 80% of the space, with a very small desk and safe (in which the hair dryer is placed because there is very little space in the bathroom).\nThere is no coffee/tea kettle.\nThe rooms are supposed to be decorated according to high & original fashion, however the decor was also underwhelming.\nThe bathroom itself is fine, however the shower is not partitioned by anything but a shower curtain - there isn't an actual shower stall or even a glass partition.\n\nAside from the great location, I feel this is an overly priced hotel and definitely not recommend it."

"staff were nice and friendly but the room was absolutely filthy and TINY, genuinely didn’t have enough room to put my bag down. the room was so dark and we couldn’t even find a power outlet as there was fabric all over the wall and ceiling which didn’t seem hygienic at all. it smelled awfully strong of air freshener as if it was trying to mask something; i’m asthmatic so that was an instant trigger. there were bugs all over the bathroom. i had to immediately book somewhere else as i was so upset. avoiddd"
