"hotel is highly accessible via amsterdam central. staff are attentive and informative (answer queries on food, sim, etc). room however is too small and has limited space to place luggage. walls are also so thin that we could hear noise from other rooms --- so better hope that your neighbors would be considerate and of good behavior. note that bathroom is shared by everyone too."

"The year was 2013. It was around midnight. The train just pulled into the station. I ran away from my father's home in CH after I ran out of money skiing on the southern glacier from buying a 1 day lift ticket. The walk was an adventure the hotel was referred to me on the street upon arrival. I found the door a man with an iguana greeted me from his repulsive peeling desk chair. 27€ a night, we brought the bags up the near vertical steps. A room with a window to the street, a cot with table; not single right angle wall. A garbage bin to shit in and some mineral peeling gel from across the street to shower. It made for a truly unique experience."

"This was the state of our room that the owner claimed to ‘not see’. We complained and he told us he must’ve missed it while ‘checking’ the room after the cleaner and tried to blame everyone but himself to blame."
