Hotel Kap

"ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING EXPERIENCE – AVOID AT ALL COSTS!\n\nI stayed ONE NIGHT at Hotel Kap and it was a NIGHTMARE from start to finish. They gave me a key card FOR THE WRONG ROOM. Yes, you read that right. I was locked out ALL NIGHT. I spent hours outside the hotel, calling and calling — but guess what? There is NO RECEPTION at night and NO ONE picks up the phone. I even had OTHER TENANTS call on my behalf and they ignored EVERY SINGLE ONE OF US.\n\nThis is not just bad service. This is a COMPLETE DISGRACE.\n\nWhen I finally managed to get someone the next day the receptionist admit that it was their fault and he went with me upstairs and saw with his own eyes that i could not enter with their card key, and he was apologizing and informing me he will escalate that to his manager for at least the basic compensation for everything that i went through the whole night!Of course none of that happened and they emailed me weeks after, and having the AUDACITY to be IRONIC, as if it was MY fault creating stories about me having wrong card😂 just to avoid refund me the money for one day of “stay”.Unbelievable arrogance and total lack of responsibility from both staff and management.\n\nThis is the WORST hotel I have EVER stayed in, run by people who clearly have no idea what professionalism or basic human decency is. If you value your time, your safety, and your sanity, do yourself a favor: STAY AWAY FROM HOTEL KAP."

"A two stars hotel in a the center of Amsterdam with a very nice and welcoming host (Mr.Chang) who meet at the door gave us a detailed map and described everything for us, we booked the smallest room, it was clean, so as the toilet with hot water and everything thing you need, recommended if you are on budget and want to enjoy the city"

"Hotel Krap?\nI booked a small room. That's ok. Was small. Wasn't prepared for the smell emanating from the shower drain however. Probably rotting hair. Also building materials piled up on the upper floor that prevented us from opening our door fully. Room as otherwise clean and tidy. Stairs are boat like in steepness with no lift. Young lad at the reception was super helpful and professional. A saving grace. Perfect position for the train to Central and to Schipol to fly in and out."
