"Fantastic Location, But Sleep Was Impossible\nPros:\n* Amazing Location: Can't beat the location! Super central and felt very safe, perfect for exploring Amsterdam.\n* Comfy Bed & Clean Room: The room itself was clean and the bed was genuinely comfortable.\nCons:\n* Unwelcoming Staff: The receptionist didn't even greet me or say welcome when I checked in. Really poor first impression.\n* Extremely Noisy Corridors All Night: This was the biggest issue. People were literally running, yelling, and laughing in the hallways throughout the entire night. I barely slept a wink. It was like a party in the corridor, not a hotel.\nOverall, while the location and room comfort were good, the terrible noise levels and the impolite check-in experience really let it down. If you're a very deep sleeper and just need a central base, maybe. Otherwise, I'd be wary if you value a good night's sleep and friendly service."

"Fantastic location close to the beautiful Vondelpark and the museums.\nThe rooms were clean, the beds comfortable. We had all the facilities we needed including fridge, safe, hairdryer, TV, tea/coffee making facilities.\nIn the reception there is also a coffee machine and a vending machine for soft drinks and snacks.\nThere was ample food choices at breakfast.\nThe staff were polite and helpful.\nNo complaints at all, an enjoyable stay."

"Bed bugs scattered around the bed, absolutely 0 care shown from reception or management, no response on emails, refused refund by booking company. Wouldn’t book a stay unless you want to come home and throw away/ quarantine your luggage.\n\nIt’s quite a shame as the rooms themselves are on the nicer side, it’s a shame about the horrific issue we (and many other customers on these reviews) have faced.\n\nI have raised my complaints with the local health authorities as no action or sympathy has been shown from Hotel City Garden themselves, I look forward to a response or your closure."
