"For an economy no frills hotel, I don’t have many issues with it. Location is perfect. There’s a lift which is a bonus for a hotel in central Amsterdam. The room without windows has zero ventilation. The AC doesn’t work. It’s very warm in the room so this is something to consider at the peak of summer. Otherwise for the price and if you’re not fussy I’d recommend it. Bed is comfortable."

"Me and a friend stayed here for one night as we were finishing up our trip to the Nederlands. We booked a twin room.\n\nThe room was decent enough for the price we paid. It was a little small and, being a basement room, had no window. It was very clean and had a TV, not that we used it. I found the bed to be quite comfortable and slept through the night, although my friend says he was woken by other guests entering their rooms (understandable, it's an old building next to the tourist sector).\n\nThe receptionists were very friendly, check-in and out was quick and easy. The location is superb too, being 5 minutes from the central station. It served all our needs for a decent price and I don't have any major complaints with the place :-)"

"We had a very disappointing stay. The room we were given had no window and no proper ventilation, making it incredibly hot and uncomfortable. When we complained, the only solution offered was a noisy fan that sounded like an airplane taking off — not exactly ideal for a good night’s sleep. The humidity inside the room was unbearable; it genuinely felt like being trapped in a small prison. Definitely not what we expected, and we wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing stay."
