"We stayed here for 3 nights, the room was clean and comfortable.\nThe staff were very friendly and welcoming, we locked our keys in the room by accident on the first evening, they were very helpful to let us back into our room.\nIt's very convenient as it's not very far from Wormeveer train station and takes about 20 minutes until your in Amsterdam Centraal train station.\nI would highly recommend this place to other people who are going to Amsterdam as it's not as expensive as staying as close and it's a nice place to stay."

"Myself and my girlfriend stayed at the Hotel De Witte for three nights and loved it so much that we stayed for another two. As far as budget hotels go, the Hotel De Witte is a phenomenal establishment with nice rooms and everything one needs for a holiday that's easy on the wallet. It's a little bit far out -- just outside the region of amsterdam -- so without prior planning, navigation will at first be tricky. But with a supermarket and the train station only a ten minute walk away, the money spent on train tickets will be made up for by the money saved on food.\n\nOverall, the Hotel De Witte is by far the best budget hotel I have been to in Europe; it is quiet, with good quality rooms, and ever helpful staff.\n\nI would recommend it to everyone."

"Worst hotel I've ever had this misfortune of staying at. I felt constantly on edge to the point I would stay in my room as I didn't trust the staff with unsupervised access to my room! Started out pretty friendly tbh but all went down hill once the cleaning lady decided she didn't like the look of my room because I didn't want it cleaned. It was my impression that while I am staying there as a guest I choose whether or not I want to be disturbed by the cleaners. Turns out they book your room for the same day you leave so there really isn't much time for them to do cleaning (disgusting!) I'd avoid unless you have nowhere else to go in which case just be weary! Also wouldn't trust them with your card details. The manager stole money out of the account that the booking was made with ans he even tried to charge my card in 4 different transactions going from 400euro to 50euro!! Honestly if I could give this no star's I would!"
