"5 star for the location, very strategic, 5 minute walk from Amsterdam Centraal, and walking distance to all of the shopping places. At first it will be difficult to spot, look at Damrak 32 instead of 31 (as per address), find the door, enter, and walk up to the first floor (front desk). Staff is really friendly. They have a locker to store your luggages when you come before check in time. Very small room, you can barely move, but hey, location is the key! The room has a tv, a safe, a chair, a hanger, a heater, desks, and a bathroom with hairdryer. You’ll get 2 towels every day, however, they do not provide bathroom mat, better to ask a spare one for that. Room and bathroom is clean. I was at the third floor, the downside is that when I opened the window it smelled really bad (probably from the kitchens down there because I could smell the food/fried food). But it would be too hot if the window was closed. Stairs are really small and steep, watch your step. No elevator. If you’re looking for a budget hotel and does not mind of the smell, there you go. Other than the smell, all good."
