I also loved the breakfast selection — fresh, tasty, and with a good variety. "We stayed here for a week. Very beautiful Hotel each room with a different theme. The rooms are very tidy and look good. Very nice people at the reception. They actually talk to you and want you to experience amsterdam, giving you ideas on where to go. "Had a great stay at Citiez Amsterdam. The rooms are small but really well designed, with smart storage under the bed and hooks for clothes. Everything was clean and tidy. The bathroom setup is a bit unusual—the shower and toilet are together, but the sink is not in the bathroom but opposite the bed. It took a bit of getting used to, but wasn’t a big issue.\n\nOne of the best things about this hotel is the neighbourhood. It’s not in the city centre, but in a vibrant, diverse area with great transit connections—about 30 minutes by tram to downtown. I also loved how there were many restaurants, three grocery stores, and clothing shops all within a 2 min walk of the hotel. Check out the West Market food court!\n\nI also really appreciated the hotel’s bike rental service (15 euros per 24 hours). I used it for a couple of days and loved cycling around the city. It’s very flat and the bike lanes are excellent, though you do need to be a confident urban cyclist, especially in the centre where cycling is not for the faint hearted. The rental bikes were generally good, but check yours before heading out— a few were a bit banged up (eg broken spokes) and they all needed air in the tires (and the hotel’s pump was broken so I had to go to a local bike shop).\n\nOverall, a really solid stay. I’d definitely recommend it."
