"Great location. Breakfast was included which was good for me traveling with a always hungry teen. Hotel is clean but some things need attention, our room smelled like smoke( after all we are in Amsterdam), bathroom sink was clogged , lighting was not enough, very dim in the evening , maybe my personal issue. My general impression is that people in Amsterdam who work in the service industry are not very service oriented, they don't smile or great you or try to help you like you would see people in America do when they work in the service industry. Overall good stay mostly because of the location but for the $300 a night - not a value for your money. I"

"I spent ten days at the hotel and was very satisfied. My single room was a bit tight around the bed when going into the bathroom, but it was fine otherwise. A small desk with an electric kettle for coffee and tea was tugged into a corner. The closet had a safe. The bathroom was spacious. Unfortunately, the shower door did not fully close. So, after having taken a shower, a water puddle was on the bathroom floor. The towels were good.\nThe reception personnel was excellent, friendly, and very helpful; so was the breakfast room personnel. The breakfast buffet featured plenty of items for a continental breakfast, including boiled eggs, a range of ceral options\nThe hotel's location in the center of town is excellent. Royal palace, Nieuwe Kerk, Dam, and other Amsterdam sites are nearby. I also had five members of my family coming from Germany over a weekend and staying in the hotel. They also were very satisfied."

"Rooms are spacious but i took a suite ehich means it has spiral stairs inside to get to room and is a mission if you have big bags. Free water still or sparkling self service with own bottle. Breakfast is ok. No fried eggs only boiled. Not halal."
