"I rarely leave reviews, but this stay was so bad that I feel obliged to warn others.\n\nFrom the moment we arrived, the difference between the reality and the photos shown on Booking.com was shocking. What they advertised and what we actually got were like night and day. The room was disgustingly unclean — stained furniture, blood spots on the sheets, greasy fingerprints on the bathroom door, and piles of dust on the bathroom heater that could only have accumulated over months, not days or weeks. I genuinely don’t know what the cleaners are being paid for.\n\nThey list "outdoor furniture" under their facilities, and the photos show balconies with chairs and tables — but in reality, our balcony was tiny, had no furniture, and barely fit two people. None of the three balconies facing the street had any furniture. Are guests expected to sit on bare concrete?\n\nWe were booked for a 6-night stay and raised our concerns at reception shortly after checking in. Hoping for a more accurate room, we asked to be moved and were told to come back the next day at midday. When we did, we were offered a much smaller room with a balcony shared between three rooms — a clear downgrade from the larger room with a private balcony we had paid for. We declined.\n\nLater, they told us a room of similar size with a bigger private balcony would be available in three days. Not ideal, but we compromised, thinking at least we’d get some relief for the last half of our stay. We packed our things in preparation to move — only to be told, on the day of the move, that there had been a "mistake" and no room was available after all. The whole thing felt disingenuous, like a stalling tactic designed to get us to accept the subpar room and give up complaining. When we challenged this, the staff member kept insisting the room we had was “very big,” as if that justified everything. He also told us he would choose our current room if he were in our position. That told us everything we needed to know — our complaint was never taken seriously and they had no intention of moving us to a different room at all.\n\nSleep? Forget it. The walls are paper-thin. You hear everything: creaky stairs, people coming and going at all hours, cleaners talking and laughing loudly and even tossing things around right outside the door — all this even when a "Do Not Disturb" sign is clearly displayed.\n\nThis ''hotel'' is a textbook example of false advertising, lack of cleanliness and dishonest staff.\nSave yourself the frustration - avoid this place at all costs."

"I booked this hotel through institutional Amex for a business trip. The hotel pictures look much nicer than in reality and whoever took these pictures should be awarded a prize. The room was too small (maybe 8-9 m2) and the floor was tilted, like the suitcase would slide. The room was generally not clean and there were stains on the curtains and the cushions. There was no fridge. There was no elevator and the stairs were horrible and maybe a health hazard. There was too much noise from the streets and without ventilation, we could not even close the windows and had to sleep with the noisy fan on. The reception people were not so friendly and sometimes came off as rude even. They were trained to give standard responses, and they even said you get what you pay for. I stayed in the hotel May 13-18, while I booked the hotel in February for more than 200 Euro a night. The hotel was definitely not worth the money and I definitely did not get what I paid for. The standard price for a room in May was 73-130 Euro, if you were to book then. The hotel is 30 min walk from the city, but there is a tram stop 3 min away."

"The hotel is clean and does the job but nothing special. The rooms are decent size but the showers are very small. The turnover of the room could have been better. The sheets on the bed were not actually fitted, just a flat sheet tucked into the bed and it didn’t seem like they were changed over our 3 day stay.\n\nThe WiFi was terrible. It went in and out and we had to switch between the different networks all the time.\n\nThe location is nice, fairly close to the Van Gogh Museum and others. The hotel also offers bike rentals, which were nice."
