Amsterdam Dockside Flats

"The 2 stars are only because the apartment itself was as described. Student standards, that is.\nThe rest was beyond cruel.\n1) Rats/mice in the wall right next to the bed. Hence, we couldn't sleep for two nights because of mice. But the staff apparently fixed it.\n2) The heating broke down. Therefore, we spent the third night in all our clothes under several blankets.\n3) Night 4: Fire alarm in the middle of the night. Because a group of young men were smoking illegally in the next room. Unfortunately, it took over an hour for the fire alarm to actually stop, even though the fire department arrived in less than 10 minutes.\n4) Nights 5 and 6: Unauthorized party by the male group in the next room on the other side. Although customer service eventually resolved this both times (albeit far too slowly and apparently without consequences for the troublemakers), it still ruined the night.\nSo, if you're just going to Amsterdam to make noise and get your head full with alcohol and other substances, it's certainly nice here. If you're an adult or a family with children who just wants some peace and quiet at night, forget it.\nThe customer service is a total disgrace. People enter the room without permission, and 20 messages have to be written for every little thing before anything actually happens.\nI stayed there for 10 nights, 6 of which were hell. Despite repeated requests for a refund of some of my money as compensation for this shortcoming, they simply didn't respond."

"The rooms are quite good, the bathroom smelled a little but the bed, kitchen and dining room were very good!!!!"
