"We had an amazing stay for 7 nights in Ambassade Hotel. We stayed in Suite 85 which was probably bigger than what we needed but everything else in the hotel was booked out. The suite was lovely and so comfortable. Views from the room were amazing! Within walking distance to everything you need. Staff were always friendly, helpful, responsive and prompt. Housekeeping was good. 4-stars for the room (closer to 4.5) is due to the weak water pressure in the shower which made showering a bit of a chore, an older model hairdryer in the bathroom and and they do not supply dental kits. But this did not dampen our experience. Buy your own supply of toiletries from the nearby Jumbo (5 min walk from the hotel) or you can ask them for extras (they will oblige). We had a leaky aircon which dripped water onto our knapsack, but they fixed the leak immediately and even laundered our knapsack at no charge. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay here again if we return to Amsterdam."

"We stayed at the Ambassade hotel a couple weeks ago and loved it. Service was great and the staff were very attentive and responsive to our needs. The decor was lovely and we especially loved the Cobra Art collection throughout the hotel- it was such a special treat. The library, bar and Brassiere were great too. The hotel’s location on the canal was beautiful. We enjoyed our stay there and will certainly stay there again when we are in Amsterdam next time!"
