"While the reception staff at this hotel were polite and helpful—especially in guiding us with local travel and tourist information—our overall experience was disappointing.\n\nWe faced repeated issues with housekeeping: every day, the locks on our bags appeared to be tampered with during room cleaning. On the very first day, I lost a power bank that was left on the bed. On another occasion, both our suitcases showed signs of attempted forced entry, resulting in one lock being damaged.\n\nAdditionally, the hotel offers very limited options for vegan guests, which made breakfast planning inconvenient.\n\nThe hotel is not located in the city center, but it’s reasonably accessible if you’re familiar with local public transport."

"We arrived early and had a warm welcome by Paul. During the stay he was exceptional and helpful with any issues we had. He is the main reason why the hotel has an extra star from us. The staff in general are very polite and helpful.\n\nOther than that the hotel was relatively clean but the rooms very small. I wouldn’t recommend it for people with children. The air conditioning wasn’t activated and it was hot during the night. Paul arranged a fan for us on the second night.\n\nThe rooms are not sound proof at all and we were disturbed from people talking in the streets the first night.\n\nLocation is good about 30 min walk to Eiffel Tower through streets with cafes and patisseries."

"A hotel completely lacking empathy and humanity – a bitter experience, without even reaching the destination\nWe had a reservation at this hotel for a long-awaited vacation, but unfortunately, just one week before our departure, we received a medical diagnosis that made it absolutely impossible for us to travel.\nIn these extremely difficult circumstances, we contacted the hotel and explained the situation, even providing medical documents that justified our inability to make the trip.\nWe repeatedly requested to cancel the reservation and receive a refund – either full or partial, with a reasonable penalty. I should mention that Booking.com supported our request and confirmed that the hotel would not have to pay any commission if the refund was granted. We did everything humanly possible, explaining that the funds were urgently needed for expensive medical treatments.\nHowever, the hotel refused any form of cooperation. Not only did they show no understanding, but they also completely disregarded any sign of empathy. It became clear that they care nothing about people, only about profit. It is especially frustrating knowing we informed them in advance and they most likely rebooked the room – meaning they essentially got paid twice for the same service.\nI strongly encourage anyone planning to visit Paris to think twice before booking this hotel. You won’t be treated as a guest, but as a source of income, regardless of your circumstances or suffering.\nA hotel that ignores the fundamental values of hospitality and humanity does not deserve your money – and certainly not your trust."
