"I had a fantastic stay at Candlewood Suites near Times Square! From start to finish, the customer service was excellent—especially the young man working the night shift. He was friendly, attentive, and made the experience even more welcoming.\n\nThe hotel lobby was a pleasant surprise, always stocked with fresh lemonade and ice-cold water, which was a perfect touch after a long day out in the city. The location itself couldn’t be better—just a short walk to Times Square and surrounded by plenty of local deli shops, giving you both convenience and a taste of the neighborhood.\n\nThe rooms are set up like mini studios, complete with a kitchenette that has everything you need for a short or extended stay. It truly felt like a home away from home. They even offered complimentary bottled water, which is a small gesture but much appreciated.\n\nThe amenities were a big plus as well. The gym is open 24 hours and even has an extra bathroom nearby, which came in handy. I especially loved that the hotel offers free use of its laundromat—such a rare and helpful perk in NYC! And yes, room service is available too, which added to the comfort and convenience of the stay.\n\nI would absolutely recommend Candlewood Suites Times Square for anyone visiting NYC, whether for business or leisure. It’s comfortable, well-located, and full of thoughtful touches that make a big difference."

"I’ve been staying at this hotel for a week now, and overall, it's been a great experience. The service has been excellent, with the front desk staff being particularly helpful and accommodating, although this can vary depending on who’s working. Like many places in New York City, there are always a few employees whose level of service doesn't quite match up to others, but this is common in a busy city like this.\n\nThe hotel’s location is fantastic, offering easy access to work, a variety of dining options, and endless entertainment choices, making it incredibly convenient for both business and leisure travelers.\n\nThere aren't too many downsides to my stay, but as is typical in New York, you do have to deal with the usual city inconveniences. The streets can sometimes smell of cannabis and other less-than-pleasant odors, and the area is often crowded with tourists, which might not be for everyone. As for the metro, it can be a bit challenging at times, with cleanliness issues, and like many parts of the city, it’s not exactly the cleanest environment. Unfortunately, you’ll also encounter a fair amount of homeless individuals on the streets, which is another reality of New York.\n\nThat said, if you can look past these common urban drawbacks, the hotel provides a comfortable and well-located place to stay. The positives of this hotel far outweigh the typical New York City challenges. It’s definitely a solid choice for anyone who wants to be close to the heart of the action while maintaining a pleasant stay."

"We stayed 6 days at the hotel and it has basically everything you need. The bed is very comfy with soft sheets and 2 different types of pillows (i am even going to look for these kind of sheets when I am at home) furthermore the room is equipped with a kitchen which comes in handy when you want to quickly prepare something. Even a small bottle of dishwashing soap is provided. The free coffee ☕️ at the lobby is a big plus and a great service of the hotel. The rooms are quite spacious for NY, they can be updated a bit but this did not bother me. The water gets hot extremely fast which is also a plus for me. All the staff is welcoming and friendly. The location and view from the room was great as well."
