"Good points: Twin room with a shared toilet and bathroom - perfect for 2 people who aren't a couple. Room was clean and door lock was secure. Staff member on 24/7 reception desk was polite and helpful - just limited by the hotels lack of facilities. Fairly cheap by London standards, fantastic central location a block away from the British Museum. Walking distance from King's Cross and St Pancras train stations.\n\nBad points : No place to refill water bottles in hotel - a cheap easy improvement to make? Towel rail in room falling off wall. Shower room was out of order so had to use shared bathroom on different floor - this was clean but would of benefited from limescale being removed. Shared toilets were tiny - toilet seat not fully secured to toilet. Very thin walls with no sound proofing, heard people watching videos on their phone, talking, doors closing etc. Corridors and room could all do with new paint.\n\nPresumably most of the above problems are related to it being a cheap hotel and the owners therefore having little capital to make improvements?"

"Mold, mold, and more mold.\nI stayed in a room in the annex of this hotel, and it was absolutely moldy. I developed a rash from the contaminated bed sheets—they were not clean and even had hair on them. Mold was everywhere: around the windows, visible on the walls, and even creeping onto my personal belongings. My bag, which meant a lot to me, started molding and now has to be thrown away.\n\nThe experience made me sicker than I already was. I had to sleep wearing a face mask, and honestly, that was the only thing that helped a bit—maybe the hotel should consider offering masks to guests so they don’t fall ill too!\nUnfortunately, that still won’t save you from the rash you’ll get from touching the sheets.\n\nSave yourself the trouble—do not stay here.\n\nPics, not very high quality because they’re screenshots from a video I sent to my friends."

"The location is perfect. The both receptionists were very good and helpful. The triple room facing the street is freshly renovated and clean. The bedding and towels were also very clean. The carpet was dirty . Service... No service. No any towels changed, no bins emptied for the first 3 days ."
