"We were here on a two-week English language & culture course in 2020. I was confused by the fact that the children were divided into groups not according to their knowledge of English, but according to their age.\n\nMy stay at this establishment left a good impression. Although there were really troubles with the cleanliness of the rooms, and it seems the cleaning lady may have stolen our money. There’s a very lovely library on the -2 floor, with fascinating books that you can get lost in for hours. The food is quite tasty, although they use disposable dishes in the dining area, which leaves a less-than-favorable impression. The service isn’t very attentive; we booked a transfer for a group, but the staff mixed up the dates, and we had to reach our destination with three transfers.\n\nThe teachers at the school are very nice — my instructor, when introducing us to English culture, even brought crackers and jam on her own initiative, which is traditionally eaten with two toasts during brunch. Her attention to detail and passion for teaching is admirable. She didn’t strictly control the learning process, everything was quite relaxed, and we had more fun than actual studying — whether that’s a plus or minus, you decide. An atmospheric place with its quirks."
