"Pictures here are a lie. Tiny rooms, bed incredibly uncomfortable, paper thin window and door means you can't sleep. Shower lacks pressure and hot water stopped running all of a sudden. Location is fine and staff are nice but honestly felt like a one star hotel at best.\nMy mate was taken into a room that was essentially shed that smelled bad."

"The only positive point of this hotel is the location. We booked it because we had an early train out of St Pancras. The rest was dismal. The bathroom was the worst part. It was full of mold and gunk in many spots and the shower floor was even cracked. There was a putrid smell coming from the bathroom and when we investigated we discovered mold all over an old plastic/carpet bathmat and a large amount of mold and gunk underneath the shower mat inside the shower stall. It looked like it had been there for years and never been cleaned. The rest of the room was in a dilapidated state with holes in the walls, paint chipping, scratches on the electrical outlets, dust everywhere, bits of trash on the floor, and dirt smeared deeply into the furniture. Also there was no soap in the shower or bathroom. There was a soap holder but it was empty. I asked the manager to fill it up but it was still empty when we returned later that evening. I had to go out to buy bath soap at 10 pm. The outdoor space in front of the room was also a mess. The welcome mat was shredded, there was an ash tray in front full of old cigarette butts, and things in general disarray. Finally when we were leaving and outside on the stoop of the hotel a rat ran over the feet of my three year old son who was sitting on the steps. All in all it was a tremendously disappointing and even potentially dangerous experience especially with a child."

"Me and my family stayed here a couple of weeks ago and while we only stayed here one night there were quite a few problems around the board. Tiles, mirrors, and more things around the room were chipped and broken. The service in the mid afternoon was fine and they took our bags yet in the evening the shower knob was stiff and unable to turn and the staff was frustrating for a number of reasons. One being me and my father were playing cards in the public lobby and were told to leave to not seem like we were working there and playing cards. This was an unusual request because there was no desk and we had not gotten complaints about it at other hotels. This seemed to be rude because we are also guests of the hotel and seemed to have their priorities on "more important" guests. Overall an ok stay, not the best service but it was a place to sleep."
