"£123 per person - Wimbledon afternoon Tea review - 3 of us went for the Themed afternoon tea at The Dorchester hotel and honestly found it underwhelming. 10/10 for the ambience, food quality was what you'd expect of a 5 star hotel but what was seriously underwhelming was the service. Over the course of our 3 hours there, service was not only slow but the waiters were not very attentive at all. For example our teas and waters were empty but they didn't refill, and request for waiter to top up our tea, had to be reminded several times. One waiter even took away my plate with food in it whilst I was eating half way. It was also difficult to get the attention of waiters also. No one came up to us to ask if we needed anything else or if our meals or tea was alright and/or if we needed anything else. For £123 per person I didn't even see anything Wimbledon themed. I don't even know why it was labeled that to be honest as we didn't see anything vaguely related to tennis in the afternoon tea experience. I was very disappointed in The Dorchester afternoon tea. For £123 it was a premium price to pay and you'd expect better service from them. Indeed we had better more attentive staff at the afternoon tea at Ruben's hotel and that was only £80 per person. We left there more satisfied than at the Dorchester."

"Wow I just checked out of this hotel and i don't normally do reviews unless my experience is fantastic or poor. Well the whole time here with my wife was fabulous, it was clean, tidy, and spacious. Really comfortable beds, we both slept so well and the food was delicious. Lovely location. All of the staff were polote and professional, nothing was too much trouble for them. All in all it was a fantastic break away and we will come back for sure 😁"
