Stuart Hotel

"I made the mistake of not checking reviews before booking, and I don’t want you to make the same mistake. Please read this carefully.\n\nI have a lot to say about this old hotel. From the start, the entrance is controlled by the front desk agent. Luckily, she was there when we arrived. However, on another occasion, we had to keep knocking on the door as it doesn’t open with your key card. If no one is at the desk or if the staff falls asleep, you’ll be stuck outside on the street.\n\nThe corridors and rooms are very smelly, like cigarette smoke. I stayed in room 108. The air conditioning worked, but there was no remote controller, so it could only be turned on with a button, and the temperature couldn’t be adjusted. The secondary security lock was broken. I needed to use an iron, which I collected from reception, but there was no ironing board in the hotel. The lighting in the room was very poor. There was a flat-screen TV, but the cables weren’t connected, making it completely useless.\n\nIn the bathroom, there was a notice instructing guests to put used tissues in a waste bin, but there was no waste bin provided. There was a place to hang clothes, but no hangers were available.\n\nAfter checkout, I asked if I could use the ground floor washroom, but the Indian lady at the reception refused in an unethical manner. Even the Uber driver, when picking me up, sarcastically asked how my hotel stay was, indicating the hotel’s poor reputation in the area.\n\nDon’t book this hotel. Spend a few extra bucks elsewhere, you won’t regret it. However, if it happens to stay there, they don't accept cash. The restaurant is inoperative and does not provide meals at all."

"The service was really good. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. Very convenient location at only 8 minute drive from the airport. It's not a holiday destination but its fine for a short stay"

"Sadly zero star is not an option… horrible place booked via EasyJet after a flight cancellation… the hotel is as bad as the company…\nDisgusting place, every stinks (cold tobacco as carpets have probably not been changed since smoking time…).\nThe rooms are very dark, no light above the bed, no bath mat, very thin window and loud traffic outside …\nRun!!"
