"The location and staff are great. The room is smaller than a prison cell. Nobody bigger than a size 10 could fit in the shower. The bathroom stunk off unrine. The hotel itself is very noisy. 2 of us shared a room and had to take turns in getting dressed as wasn’t enough floor space for both of us! I know it said small double but this was ludicrous!!"

"Myself and my son stayed for 3 nights in a twin room. The room was small as was the bathroom but served the purpose well and was clean and tidy. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great location to Paddington station and helpful to be able to leave your bags before and after check in/out. The only major downside was the lack of sound proofing. It was like having big foot living above you!"

"Great location near Paddington Station. My friends and I purchased this hotel last minute and were almost drawn away from the reviews. My advice is- if you are expecting to hang out in the hotel all day, this probably isn’t the best fit for you. But, if you are just there for sleeping, I would 10/10 recommend for convenience in location. Do not expect the rooms to be large, they are not. And do not expect the bathrooms to be large, they are not. For the price we paid, we were extremely happy with our choice in the Royal Cambridge. All of our interactions with the staff were great. Because the hotel is small, don’t expect it to be very quiet, if you are in a room close to the stairs you’ll hear people go up and down the stairs but it’s not super bothering. We fit three in a room for a whole week and could make the size of the room and bathroom work. As three girls in this hotel, we felt safe with our option."
