OYO Anchor Hotel

"I stayed there with a friend in January for two nights. We booked for three people, (one person cancelled) but we still used the room we had booked.\n\nThe room is pretty small, and tight, also we didn't have enough space to store our clothes anywhere, but we ended up putting them on the third bed.\nThere's only one mirror and it's placed a bit too high, but it's manageable. There was another door that led to the outside (almost like a balcony, I'd say). It was broken and couldn't be closed properly, so the room was cold at night and in the morning. However there was an electric/a fan heater so we used that. We also had a small fridge, on top of it placed are an electric kettle, two cups and tea. The sockets worked perfectly fine. The bedsheets were clean, I had no encounters with bedbugs. I struggled to open the door with the key, but I was helped by the staff!\n\nThe bathroom was also quite small, and the sink barely had enough surface to put toothbrush and toothpaste on it, but it was still neat. I didn't see any mold.\n\nThe people working there are very friendly and supportive! My friend had to wear crutches and had difficulties with his luggage, but he was immediately offered help by the service. The staff always greeted us and checked up on us, whenever we walked past them and they helped us carrying luggage again at check out, so that was really nice :D\n\nMe and my friend had an overall good experience here and although it's tight it's still a nice place to stay at for a short time, so we agreed on leaving a good review. Also, it's 5-10 minutes away by foot from the underground station of Golders Green, and it's cheap too.\nGreat job (with only 2-3 people that were working here) for a small business, honestly👏"

"Bed is super comfortable, and the linen is very clean. Staff are really nice. Very tiny room but better than a hostel bunk bed! It's nice to have a single room option. It's definitely not worth the full price. The photos are not the same place."

"The hotel was in a pretty nice location but the rooms were filled with bedbugs. We didn’t read the reviews until a week before checking in and we were lucky enough to get a room without them. We asked the staff to not change the sheets and even put a sign on the door to avoid the change and the possibility of bedbugs getting in our room. They changed the sheets without saying anything to us and we found bedbugs crawling on the wall and on the sheets."
