Mowbray Court Hotel

"I can't agree with all the negative reviews, as we had a pleasant stay at the Mowbray Court Hotel.\nThe hotel is located on a not-too-noisy side street, and Earls Court Station is conveniently just a 2-minute walk away.\nFor me, cleanliness in a hotel is very important, and it was there. Room service keeps the rooms clean, and they provide fresh towels and free bottled water daily.\nThe lobby downstairs is large, and you can enjoy free coffee, tea, and water.\nHowever, I can confirm that the rooms are small. In a double room, you can't store your luggage without it getting in the way, and there's no closet for clothes. Furthermore, the beds are very small for two people, and you feel cramped.\nBreakfast is very simple, with no "typical English" dishes, although this is predictable given the "continental" description.\n\nI'm still satisfied overall. Overall, however, I'm mostly satisfied with the hotel; you're usually out and about in London during the day anyway, so you don't spend much time in your room. I think the reason for most of the negative reviews here is the location of the rooms (ours was right at the top)."

"We stayed here very last minute after a catastrophic Airbnb experience. The service is very accommodating and friendly. Our rooms were very clean and nicely furnished.\n\nFurthermore, a small coffee and tea station inside the room, A/C, fresh towels everyday and two bottles of water. Moreover, it was possible to have water, tea and coffee in the lobby.\n\nIt was very nice that there was a breakfast buffet in the morning, even though I wished there were more “English” options, such as sausages and beans.\n\nOverall, a very good place which is in walking distance to the Earl’s Court underground. Highly recommend!"

"Location is perfect, very short walk to Earl's Court station, so convenient! Staffs are nice and helpful. I booked the single room, the bed is quite tiny but at least it's true to the pictures they show on booking website. Room is small but nice overall, bathroom is actually not tiny and good. (I had medium luggage and could still open flat on the floor, might be hard if you got the large one though.) Didn't try the breakfast."
