"The Duke Rooms Hotel is a lovely place to stay. The bed and pillows are exceptionally comfortable, and both the room and bathroom were pretty clean.\n\nNote that the hotel does not have an elevator, so it's best to travel light. That said, the staff at the bar are very helpful and will gladly assist you if needed.\n\nThe location is convenient, with a subway station and a regional train station within a 10-minute walk.\n\nThe bar offers quite nice drinks and menus.\n\nOne issue I encountered in room 302 was with the plug sockets next to the bed—they didn’t work properly. I had to secure my charger with external support, as the sockets seemed loose and unstable."

"Pros:\nlocalisation, luggage storage\nCons:\nI only booked this place as it was marked as soundproofed. However it was not. Because of this fact I felt lied to and misguided. If you book a place to stay, it's usually a place to sleep, and If sleep is affected then the service isn't provided.\n\nThe first night was not as bad as it was Thursday, so I could hear only loud car engineers passing by from time to time and the downstairs pub stopped working around 11pm. However the second night it was a nightmare and I could not sleep as people in the room next door were drunk and loud till 4am, just talking, banging doors, going in and out of the room multiple times and everything was heard as it was in the same room.. Asked to be quiet they ignored us, as they were basically at least drunk (3 people at least). No phone number in the room provided of where to call in case of problems, nothing. There was some note outside, however I did not take pictures and did not feel safe leaving the building (and in pijama) to get the number to complain. It ruined nice planned day as I felt super tired :(\nThere was loads of dust in some parts of the room (phone, top of bed frame, side lamps) and a big dirty spot on a side table - I think it could be after an electric toothbrush. Some corners were super dirty in the bathroom, which summed up questioned the fact that if the rooms are clean after each guest and if yes, maybe somebody should check the quality.\nThere was mold on the window frame.\nThe hair dryer handle was falling off the wall.\nWe had a three people room, booked for two with the idea to have nice sofa sitting space and more room, to come to the sofa prepped for sleep too, which took most of the free space in the room.\nNot really space for luggage, just small open wardrobe with two hangers (probably just for coats), so we were walking around the suitcase on the floor.\nOh and betting was really creased. Seem like either used ny somebody else or just nobody cares to keep it ironed.\n\nThe room has potential but needs to be maintained better, kept clean, probably new windows which would help to keep the noise from the pub away, and remove the misinformation about soundprovenes, as then people would have different expectations and would rate you differently.\n\nAt checking out we were just asked if we wanted to leave luggage, and "bye". No politeness or asking how our stay was\n\nIt was my partners weekend gift and I felt bad for bringing him to such a place, and I did not pay cheap."

"I had read some negative reviews on Google and was a bit worried but, in fact, the small hotel/pub is charming and clean with good food and beer in a casual but warm environment.\n\nThe room is very small but in great shape and with a great rainshower plus handheld showerhead in the compact but spotless bathroom.\n\nHVAC is new and perfect. We visited on some of the hottest days in London and, if anything, the HVAC had to be "toned down" a bit.\n\nRooms have maid service and linen changes daily.\n\nBut the absolute highlight is Bhagrav; the manager for three years.\n\nWe were nearly 3 hours delayed, arriving at midnight, and Bhagrav was right there with a smile and every possible offer of help.\n\nThis was his mode thru the entire stay: offering help and helpful information and always greeting us with a warm smile.\n\nIts a small hotel and, as is typical with this genre, there's no elevator, just FYI.\n\nEven so, Bhagrav offered to carry our luggage at entry opportunity. We declined but appreciated the offer, definitely.\n\nLocation is between Marble Arch and Regent's Park.\n\nBfast isn't provided ... there are some old mentions of that ... but Black Sheep Coffee opens at 7 and is just 2 mins walkaway with bfast sandwiches, muffins, etc.\n\nAt 8 Boxcar Cafe opens with some unique and tasty options!"
