The location is excellent – close to public transport and just a short walk to many attractions, yet tucked away enough to enjoy some peace and quiet.\n\nThe room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The bed was very cozy, and we appreciated the attention to detail in the decor and amenities.\n\nWhat really stood out was the staff – everyone we interacted with was friendly, professional, and helpful. They made us feel very welcome and were happy to assist with any questions we had.\n\nOverall, it was a lovely stay and we would definitely recommend the Maiden Oval Hotel to anyone visiting London. "Me and my partner booked the hotel last minute on a Saturday night for 1 night and the price was £115 for a triple room (they only had single or triple available at the time) and it was actually very pleasant. Location was perfect for us as it was very central London and close to where we were hanging out. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the rooms had everything we needed - comfy beds, 2 x charging sockets, a fan, windows, shower and toilet. The walls are slightly on the thin side so you will hear some sounds from out in the corridors and roadside however we are not light sleepers so it didn't bother us too much. Overall, would book again."

"This is a budget hotel in every sense of the word. Great price but not exactually as advertised. They do not have a functioning lift, and I think it has been that way for some time. That being said, to compensate for this they do offer to bring your bags up and down for you on check-in and check-out. The rooms are also not soundproofed, I could hear everything that was being discussed in the next room and when they were having a shower. They do not have secure luggage storage, so if that is an issue for you you might want to keep that in mind. Lastly, I did have to ask for my sheets to be changed on arrival because they were covered in little stains and marks. The new sheets were clean with no stains.\nLastly, the location was great for its proximity to the city center but the area itself did not feel the most safe."
