"Rooms are good and tidy, great location, all as advertised. Breakfast smelt lovely but we skipped it. Lovely staff, especially Julia who really helped make our stay that bit extra special! Would stay again!"

"We booked this ibis due to the location to the Olympic stadium for an event that was on. The hotel was severely understaffed. We had arrived for check in just after 3 (check in was 3pm) to be told our room wasn't ready as they only had 2 cleaners on. We waited for a while and when we asked again we were then told there was only 1 cleaner and the people in our room had paid for late check out at 5pm so the cleaner couldn't start until they checked out. When they did eventually check out (at 5pm exactly) we managed to get in the room at 5.10pm. We needed to leave at 5.30pm to get to the event. We had travelled 4 and a half hours and had no time to sort ourselves out before going. It was a shambles. I don't understand why we were given a check in time of 3 when the person in our room could pay for a late check out of 5pm. It makes no sense.\nAs well as this, the mattress topper on the bed had a hard ridge down the entire width of it which dug into our backs all night and the air conditioner did not work effectively.\n\nWe paid £249 for this room for 1 night. Im assuming the price was inflated due to the event, which we understood. But for this money, you expect the level of service to be better than this. We will definitely not be returning."
