"Very Disappointing Stay – Would Not Recommend\n\nWe recently stayed at this Hampton by Hilton hotel in London and were very disappointed with the experience, especially considering our Hilton Gold status.\n\nRoom assignment:\nWe accidentally booked an accessible room online. Upon arrival, the staff acknowledged the mistake but didn’t. For loyal guests with Gold status, we expected more flexibility and support, which sadly wasn’t the case.\n\nLack of basic amenities – especially water:\nDuring our stay, London was experiencing an intense heatwave (32°C+). Over three days, no drinking water was refilled in the room. The only option was to purchase small bottles at the hotel bar for €5.50 each – which felt extremely greedy and inconsiderate given the weather conditions.\n\nHousekeeping and cleanliness:\nFrom the moment we checked in, the body wash dispenser was almost empty and was never refilled throughout our entire stay. On the last night, we returned exhausted and unable to shower properly because it was completely empty. Additionally, the bathroom was not cleaned at all during our 3-night stay. The sink was clogged from the beginning, and no one addressed it. The only housekeeping provided was bed-making and towel replacement – and even the towels had an odd smell.\n\nOverall, this experience left us with a very poor impression of the hotel. For a Hilton, the service and attention to basic guest needs were shockingly low. We would not recommend this hotel to anyone."
