DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel London Tower of London

"We were thoroughly impressed with our stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton near the Tower of London. In a city with endless hotel options, this one truly stands out for its incredible staff and commitment to cleanliness.\n\nWe were fortunate to receive an upgrade upon check-in, and our room was spotless. I mean, exceptionally clean, which can often be hit-or-miss even with well-known hotel brands. While the room itself was a bit small, this is very common in London, and by European standards, it was well-appointed and very comfortable.\n\nWhat truly made our stay outstanding, however, was the staff. The hotel was consistently busy, yet every single staff member we encountered—from the front desk to the breakfast attendants—was polite, on point, and genuinely helpful. The morning breakfast buffet, though it could get crowded, was very nice and always well-maintained by this amazing team. We didn't get a chance to visit, but we noted the hotel also has an award-winning rooftop sky bar.\n\nThe location is a major asset. It served as an excellent home base and is very convenient for getting around the city. There was always a line of taxis waiting right at the front door, and the Tower Hill Underground station is just a short walk away, making it incredibly easy to explore all of London.\n\nI would highly recommend this hotel to any traveler who values impeccable cleanliness and truly exceptional service above all else. A fantastic choice."

"Excellent venue for our conference. The number of delegates were huge and the hotel was able to accommodate everyone in a comfortable way.\nThe catering was amazing!\nTemperature was comfortable and the rooms were clean, spacious and state of the art.\nThe toilets were clean too considering the number of attendees.\nLocation was perfect being very close to the tube station and many restaurants and cafes close by."

"Recently stayed here with my folks. We were fortunate to get the Thames Suite which featured jaw-dropping 270 degree views over the tower bridge and Tower of London complex, as well as the beautiful tower of the old Port Authority (now four seasons ) hotel.\n\nThe staff were nothing but kind. The breakfast was filling with a selection of English breakfast items. Having access to the executive room with complementary waters and refreshments made the stay just that much more pleasant.\n\nThe location is phenomenal for navigating the city. 5 min to the Central and Circle line trains gets you pretty much everywhere east/west in 20-25 min. And of course, visiting the london tower was just a 5 min walk. We also enjoyed strolling the neighborhood, but it does quiet down a bit at night as it’s mostly financial (though that did make for relaxing evenings). If you want really good fish and chips, a place called Jack The Chipper about 10 minutes away was excellent. And we also enjoyed grabbing delicious local middle eastern food and just enjoying it in our room with the view over the river.\n\nIf you have a family of 4, the room, the hotel and the location would make a wonderful place to enjoy a london visit. I’ve been to London about 4 times now, and this was definitely one of the best experiences so far."
