"Inside the apartment, some areas have lacked up to date maintenance which would enhance the experience for guests.\n1.When we arrived the dishwasher was missing the front panel and had an unsafe hinge on the door. This fell open and hit my leg causing cuts and bruising. Very unsafe. Dishwasher has now been replaced.\n2. There is a window with a broken hinge which has been nailed shut until it is repaired.\n3. The bathroom pedal bin's pedal is broken and sharp.\n4 The light shade in the main bedroom has been wrecked by previous tenants and is awful. It looks shabby.\n5. The light fitting above the couch is missing with the globe exposed.\n6. The light fitting above the TV doesn't work and neither does the bedside light in the master bedroom.\n7. The master bedroom initially had a large cot taking up much of the spare space in the room. It would be good if this was provided only when asked for.\n8. The window in the master bedroom has a crack in it that goes from the top to the bottom of the window.\n9. The kitchen taps, both hot and cold, need new washers as they are difficult to turn off and to stop them dripping.\nWe have been quite disappointed with the condition of the apartment as it was not as advertised. As for the linen that was provided it is not hotel quality, and is not the correct size for the beds provided. The pillows are not fabulous quality either. They are thin and too few are provided for the number of tenants.\n\nThe anticipated wonderful greeting by your hostess that was mentioned in many reviews that I read before coming to London was not as expected because the greeter had the wrong phone number and was sending messages to us which we did not receive. We were waiting in the street for over an hour before a message finally got to her and she found us. After a 24 hour journey this was not a great start to our stay.\nThis narrative was the gist of an email sent through to the landlord as we left earlier this week. To date, there has been no response.\nThe apartment is in a great location but it needs maintenance."

"Terrible. No one is waiting there to give you the key. We had to go looking for them far away. We paid a deposit (600 pounds) and they didn't return our money, and Booking.com took no responsibility. We've complained and called Booking.com many times, but they haven't solved anything for us."
