"The hallways and rooms were INCREDIBLY hot and humid to the point I was wondering if I booked a stay at a sauna and not a hotel. I understand that the building may not be fitted with AC, but the provided fans did nothing but circulate the hot air and the lack of ventilation did not help either (the windows only open about 5cm). During my stay the outdoor temperatures were very low 20s and yet the rooms were unbearably hot, so I definitely don't recommend staying in warmer seasons - might be more comfortable in colder weather?\n\nThere is also no communal restroom in the lobby/lounge areas, which was inconvenient after checking out if your flight is in the evening. Also limited lockers on site for luggage storage (only 8). Also no elevator access during my stay, but there was construction to improve the building so perhaps this will be added later - stairs are quite narrow in the meantime.\n\nApart from this, off-site staff were helpful and responsive, and the rooms were modern. Nice outdoor area (great to escape the heat in the room since sitting in the sun slow-roasted me less than the room did). The digital keys were convenient and easy to use in my experience.\n\nTLDR: don't stay in summer. Or any time the weather is over 20 degrees."

"The support staff was quick to respond and very helpful. The room was clean, and we were lucky to have a quiet spot with a nice garden view. The comfy room upgrade was worth it, offering extra space.\n\nOverall, the stay was pleasant, but there are a few things to improve. The property didn’t warn us about the weekly fire drill on Tuesdays in advance, nor about the fire alarms going off twice during our stay—once in the evening and again at night. There were no instructions on what to do or where to go in case of an emergency.\n\nThe room had basic kitchenware, but no place to clean dishes other than the bathroom. Which didn’t felt very hygienic. There was a tea towel, but no dishwashing tools or space to store dirty dishes. Lastly, the bathroom was very small and there was a very unpleasant smell during our stay. While typical for London, better use of the space, like repositioning the door or adding a hook, would have made it more practical.\n\nProperty is very close to several public transport options and also a lot of lime bikes in the neighbourhood which was very nice since we had lovely weather during our stay."

"I was impressed with the room, it's small but well laid out and had a fridge and microwave. And it was clean. So that was great.\n\nThe automatic check-ins etc. were smooth - but I did worry about what might happen if my phone died (everything is done via your phone).\n\nWhat would stop me booking here again are the lack of air conditioning (my room was unbearably hot, so I didn't sleep well or feel good in the mornings). It was also quite noisy. There was no lift, so with heavier bags I'd struggle to get up all the stairs. And the location, there's not much within walking distance. It's a 15 minute bus ride to Kensington High Street, or 20ish to South Kensington. The bus stop is right outside, so that's handy - not that they tell you that before you get there, which would have been very helpful."
