Best Western London Queens Crystal Palace Hotel

"Tried booking this hotel for weekend visit to crystal palace only to find its no longer taking bookings(security would not even let me into reception) and outside was load of Men smoking and drinking around delivery bikes. When approached by a local they proceeded to tell me the hotel has been a immigrant hotel for over a year now and crime has risen in the area."

"I really enjoyed my stay here, honestly wanted to stay longer than the 4 days I stayed. The hotel has a good location - it's close to the bus station, restaurants and a big Sainsburys which is a few minutes walk from it.\nThe hotel provides parking although I did not need it. I booked a room with a double bed and it comes with a TV as well. The room was quaint and neat, lots of towels provided, and it had air conditioning which was crucial for the hot weather. The bathroom was a very good size, honestly I think it was my favourite part of the room. I loved the design and colour of the room, I suppose it has something to do with the history of the area (as an aspiring architect, I enjoy these little details).\nI think the interior of the hotel is wonderfully decorated and contrasts with the exterior though. From the outside, you'd think something completely different, however when you go in, it's decent. Within the hotel, a vending machine for bottled water and snacks is provided. There was also a microwave located in the lobby of the reception which I wished I knew earlier (so take note in case you're on a budget and don't want to spend lots of money on takeout).\nThe service I received was great - I lost my oyster card on the hotel premises, and the reception called me when it had been found. They were also willing to keep my luggage for me after I checked out. If I ever need to come back to London, I will be looking to stay here again."
