Axo New Cross

"Avoid at All Costs – Overpriced and Awful Experience!\n\nMy experience at this accommodation was extremely disappointing. Maintenance was painfully slow and at times non-existent - I had to chase them multiple times (sometimes up to 6 requests for a single repair) just to be ignored or receive a repair months after I had requested it.\n\nThe shower drain in my bathroom was blocked posing a serious safety hazard, and even after the repair person flagged it to management, they refused to update the faulty drainage system.\n\nThe tap water was far too hot and remained that way because the manager said "it's not that hot" so it had to be kept on the lowest setting the whole year with abysmal water pressure.\n\nThe common room was in obvious disrepair: the pool table cloth was ripped, cue sticks and balls missing, and the TV remote had no batteries - despite informing reception nothing was done to resolve the issue.\n\nThe reception presence was minimal, often unmanned for most of the day with very limited hours, closed even during normal working hours. For the price they are charging you could at least expect there would be someone to report issues to.\n\nThe kitchen setup was unacceptable - three microwaves for ten people were reduced to just one, and all of the lounge sockets didn’t work, making appliances like the iron unusable (this was reported multiple times and again ignored: a common theme with AXO New Cross)\n\nThe room and lounges were unbearably hot during the summer, making it extremely uncomfortable to relax let alone even eat.\n\nAVOID AT ALL COSTS,\nIt is badly managed, poorly maintained if at all, and absolutely not worth the cost."

He was always so helpful, welcoming, and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was as smooth and comfortable as possible. Whether it was providing assistance with packages or offering advice on local spots, Benedict made me feel truly supported throughout my time there.\n\nThe facilities at Axo New Cross were also excellent. The rooms were modern and well-maintained, and the communal spaces were perfect for socializing or studying. The gym and laundry facilities were a great bonus, and the location is ideal, being close to public transport and shops.\n\nI highly recommend Axo New Cross for anyone looking for quality student accommodation with great service!"
