"The staff here are incredibly rude and talk to you like moody teenagers. They seem to have forgotten they are the welcoming faces of a hotel and seem surprised to be asked for information or to ask to check in (which, by the way, check-in time has changed from 2pm to 3pm, but they still send messages with the incorrect time on.)\n\nThe room itself was fine, small but had everything needed for my stay. It was comfortable for one person, but maybe cramped for two. Unfortunately, on arrival the staircase and hallways stank of cigarette smoke. On the evening, the smell from the hallway could be smelt from my bedroom and so I had to open the bedroom windows wide open for fresh air. By the second/third night, the smell had mostly gone.\n\nI would not stay here again, mostly because of the treatment from staff. After all the reviews saying the same thing, I can't believe they haven't been fired yet."

"Clean and modern rooms. A bit small, but good enough for a short trip. Little kitchen with coffee mashine (free refill of coffee tabs every day), ceramic field and water boiler. Bathroom is also very modern. The rooms seem to be renewed in the last month/year, because everything felt quite new.\n\nIt's very well located next to the tube, overground and bus. Also a lot of restaurants, shops, cafes are around. Would come back every time."

"The rooms the self are great for the money. But the service we received at the reception was shocking. Emailed ahead of time for an early check-in, and it was confirmed. Turnt up at the reception on check in day and was told room would be ready till 3pm, as the room wasnt cleaned . As soon as we said about our situation of going to a wedding and needing to get ready, a room suddenly become available. After being told there was no clean rooms.the room was immaculate and ready to go. The staff when we checked in was rude, and difficult, didn't get her name unfortunately. But the staff I spoke to later in the day were actually very helpful and polite"
