Sanasaryan Han a Luxury Collection Hotel Istanbul

"Beautiful hotel in the heart of Istanbul, offering a very luxurious and peaceful experience. It really feels like an oasis away from the hectic pace of the city. For what you pay, you get quite a lot—spacious rooms, elegant design, and a very quiet environment that makes it easy to relax. The air-conditioning is excellent, which is a huge plus during the hot summer months, especially considering that many places in the city don’t have proper cooling.\n\nThe lobby is stunning, and the hotel bar is beautifully designed as well, although unfortunately the bartender was completely untrained and couldn’t make a proper cocktail. That was the only real weak point in an otherwise strong experience.\n\nThe breakfast is excellent—served at your table rather than a buffet, which adds a nice touch of calm and personal service. The food was fresh, well-prepared, and beautifully presented. Room cleaning seems to be once per day, and there’s no evening turndown service, which is a bit unusual for a five-star hotel, but not a dealbreaker.\n\nOverall, a very pleasant stay. I would definitely return and can recommend it to anyone looking for a calm, refined stay in Istanbul."

"Resume: I enjoyed my stay overall and the hotel is very comfortable. Employees were awesome. But some points were not at the expected level for this price.\n\nThe location is central in the middle of the old town. It has his pros (easy to visit around) but also its cons (difficult to call a taxi, traffic is TERRIBLE). We had to take a 2-minute walk each time we needed a cab (employees escorted us, many thanks to them). Venues of the hotel are in great shape. The main hall and the bar venues are very enjoyable.\n\nEmployees were awesome and very helpful. They participate in a large part to our enjoyable stay.\n\nThe room we rent was great, very comfortable, even if the "view to the Bosphore" was narrow, between two buildings. Counting a supplement for it seems greedy, I was a bit surprised. I also found a large stain on the carpet (room 2017) near the bed, nothing terrible but it seems rather unexpected for a Luxury Hotel and easy to fix.\n\nI was not convinced by the bar selection. Turkey has GREAT wines, but the two by-the-glass I tasted were average. My wife found no interest in her cocktail. It could easily be improved, as the bar venues are very very nice.\n\nI needed a jacket to be ironed for an evening dinner and it came back badly ironed. The second time was acceptable but still not perfect. That's also a shame and I won't use it any more if I come back.\n\nAs stated before, the Hotel is in great overall shape and very comfortable. Employees are awesome and very helpful. But some points of the experience need to be improved in order to maintain a top quality standard, and it seems to me this hotel aims at such a quality."

Mustafa greeted us enthusiastically, full of knowledge, accommodated our requests, super professional.\nHotel amenities are exquisite. All appointments are top tier. Spacious rooms, the best bed linens ever! Would travel just to come back to this hotel!"
