"We often stay at this hotel and have always enjoyed the experience — the location, the ambiance, and the overall service are generally excellent. However, during our most recent visit, a few surprising issues occurred that made the stay noticeably less pleasant.\n\n1. Incorrect and Unprofessional Guest Addressing\nAt breakfast, a waiter repeatedly addressed me as “Sir” — despite the fact that I am a woman.\n“Good morning, sir. More coffee, sir?”\nIt wasn’t just once, but several times throughout the meal.\nIt was both awkward and baffling. In a hotel of this standard, I would expect staff to be properly trained in basic guest interaction.\nThis kind of mistake shows a lack of attention and basic communication competence. It’s not only impersonal — it’s disrespectful.\n\n2. Poor Coordination at Reception\nDue to uncertain travel plans, we extended our stay day by day, and ended up staying a total of four nights.\nEach day, we made a new reservation well before noon.\nYet, every single day — shortly after 12:00 — we received a call from reception asking when we planned to check out.\nThis happened even though my next-night reservation was already confirmed in the system.\n\nThis level of internal miscommunication is simply unacceptable in a hotel that claims to offer high standards. It creates unnecessary stress and makes guests feel unwelcome, as if they constantly have to prove they belong.\n\n⸻\n\nThese may seem like small things, but they directly affect the overall experience. We truly hope management takes note — because the hotel has so much potential, but without proper staff training and coordination, that quality is easily lost."
