"The decor and atmosphere in this hotel is amazing. The staff, food and cocktails were also great. The treason for the 3 stars instead of five is that we were moved to another room due to some electrical issues which was fine however the room was very bright due to no curtains or shutters in the shower which is right next to the bed. We also purchased the largest room for our friend’s birthday (4 days after we stayed) only to hear that they were also downgraded to a standard room due to “electrical issues”. Very disappointing that the rooms we booked were denied on both occasions with the same poor excuse. If we had been informed of this we would never have booked."

"Completely over rated in my opinion. Feedback : Poor aircon. Insects. Noisy. Limited average food. Photo of old walls ?? Old floor?? Haha. Pictures are also not dramatic. See awesome historical hotels in China, Penang, Singapore and Bandung. Far more meaning and architectural value 😂😂😂"

"PLEASE DON’T COME only if you want to take pictures.\nWe went to the cafe because it was advertised to be the best museum cafe in town. When we reached there, the service staff told us that one person must have 2 orders minimum which totally upset us but we still wanted to take a look at menu so we went in.\nAdditionally, the serving of beverage took more than a decade and by the time we had already finished our desserts 30min ago. More interestingly, they don’t serve tap water but when we requested if they can provide one because we need some medication, the staff rudely told us that one cup water needs to be charged (WTF?), then we say never mind, we just drink our own water. When we already finished the medication, the staff brought one cup over and say the water will not charge, it was so contradicting and we were very angry then and say we don’t need.\nOverall all food items are overpriced and not worthy. The service not up to the standards and does not worth the price paid.\nIf you want to come by visit to have good pictures, you need to have a strong heart that doesn’t mind the service and ridiculous rules the cafe set themselves.\nAnyway we will not come back here and do not recommend to others."
