"Wonderful experience. The hotel is undergoing renovations, but it did not bother us at all. Staff were proactive in accommodating any disruption from this, providing us with a voucher to use in the hotel. It was our anniversary and they also gave a beautiful dessert and fruit platter. In fact all staff at the hotel were fantastic, helpful, kind and attentive.\n\nThe pool area is exceptional. It’s right in central Bangkok, but it was so tranquil. Gym is well equipped (rare for a hotel!). Breakfast buffet was fantastic.\n\nHighly recommend, would definitely stay again."

While there was a slight initial snag that made things less smooth – the check-in process took quite a long time, and I had to wait in line for a considerable period, which was a bit tiring after travel – this minor drawback was more than compensated for by the outstanding quality of service in other areas.\n\nThe most impressive highlight was definitely the lounge service. Every staff member in the lounge was truly professional. Their service was seamless, attentive to every detail, and incredibly friendly. From the moment I stepped into the lounge, I felt a relaxing atmosphere and a warm welcome. The staff were ready to assist, answer questions, and facilitate everything quickly and efficiently, whether it was preparing drinks, snacks, or providing various information. I felt exceptionally well-cared for and enjoyed maximum comfort. This excellent service significantly enhanced my stay, making my time in the lounge a memorable highlight of the trip.\n\nFurthermore, other facilities within the hotel were also good. The room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with amenities, perfectly suited for relaxation. The hotel's location was also convenient for travel and exploring the city. Staying here felt like the right decision. Although there's room for improvement regarding the speed of check-in, the quality of the staff, especially in the lounge, created a strong positive impression and made this stay very satisfying.\n\nIn summary, Pullman Bangkok King Power is a hotel that offers an excellent experience, particularly in its lounge service, which truly made this stay complete and worth revisiting in the future."

"Very disappointing experience for what is supposed to be a 5-star hotel\n\nWe booked this hotel expecting a premium, 5-star experience, but unfortunately, we were left disappointed on many levels.\n•Our special occasion was completely ignored. We requested a special bedding setup in advance, but received only a small dessert. No extra effort, no greeting, and no apology from any manager.\n•The air conditioning in our room didn’t work properly. It could only be set to 25°C, making the room too warm to sleep comfortably. We called reception at 2:00 AM to request a fan—they said they didn’t have one and insisted on entering our room to check the AC. That was completely inappropriate at that hour.\n•The towels were old and worn out, not what you would expect from a so-called 5-star property.\n•The breakfast buffet was underwhelming. Several items advertised on their website were missing. The river prawns took too long, and staff barely paid attention to our table while other guests seemed to be better cared for.\n\nIn the end, we only received a casual apology at the front desk. No follow-up, no contact from any manager. It felt like the hotel prioritizes only certain guests.\n\nIf you’re expecting a true 5-star experience, think twice before booking here."
