"Perfect Stay ! 😍😍\n\nWe had an exceptional stay at Jasmine 59. The hotel is modern, spotlessly clean, and beautifully decorated. Our room was spacious, bright, and very comfortable, with a large bed and a stunning view. Everything was thoughtfully designed for comfort, from the convenient kitchenette to the small touches that made us feel right at home.\n\nThe staff were incredibly kind, professional, and always available to help with a smile.\n\nThe facilities are excellent – we enjoyed the swimming pool, sauna, and fitness center, all of which were well-maintained and perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring.\n\nThe location is ideal, close to public transport, great restaurants, and shops, yet peaceful and quiet.\n\nWe would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Bangkok!"

"Although the hotel describes itself as a 5-star property on its official website, the service we experienced—particularly the miscommunication and lack of professionalism at the front desk—fell short of that standard.\n\nDuring check-in at Jasmine 59 Hotel, I informed the front desk that it would be my husband’s birthday the following day and asked if there might be a small surprise arranged. The staff member warmly responded, “I see!” and, while handing us the room key, told us that breakfast was included. Since our original booking did not include breakfast, we were pleasantly surprised and assumed this was a thoughtful gesture from the hotel. We even asked about breakfast hours, to which she clearly replied, “6–10 AM.”\n\nHowever, the next morning, when we went to the restaurant, we were informed that our room was not on the breakfast list. I returned to the front desk to clarify, and the staff stated that our booking did not include breakfast. I explained that the staff member from the day before had told us otherwise and asked whether it might have been a complimentary gesture. Instead of investigating the matter respectfully, the staff questioned us as if we were trying to take advantage of a free service, even asking, “Are you saying our staff gave you complimentary breakfast? Just for one day, right?” The tone and manner were uncomfortable, leaving us feeling doubted and humiliated.\n\nLater that evening, we spoke again with the original staff member. She insisted it was a “misunderstanding” and even asked if we had misheard her. This was incredibly frustrating. It made no sense that we would have asked about breakfast hours unless she had first stated that breakfast was included. Furthermore, in most hotels, if breakfast is not part of the reservation, staff typically clarify this and offer the option to purchase it. In our case, she said nothing about additional costs—only the breakfast hours—so it’s clear this was not a misunderstanding on our part, but a misstatement on hers. She later claimed she had said our booking did “not” include breakfast and that we had misheard, which felt like an unfair attempt to shift the blame.\n\nThat night, we found a small birthday cake placed in our room, which we appreciated. However, it did not make up for the discomfort and mishandled communication we had endured. We sincerely hope the hotel will prioritize clearer communication and stronger accountability in the future.\n\nOn a positive note, we had washed some clothes and left them in the room to dry. When we returned in the evening, we found that housekeeping had kindly provided a drying rack and neatly hung our clothes. This was a thoughtful and much-appreciated gesture for which we are genuinely grateful.\n\nIn summary, while the hotel offers good facilities and some attentive service, the inconsistency in staff communication and the way the situation was handled did not reflect the standards of a true 5-star experience.\nFacilities and housekeeping alone could easily earn this hotel five stars. But the front desk interaction was disappointing enough to significantly affect our perception—and our rating."

"Only if there were more recent and honest reviews on here, I would NOT have booked at this place.\nWhere shall I start….\nRooms: size is huge… but that’s about it. Aircon is not working properly and very noisy. With floor to ceiling window, the room was like a baking oven. The sheets and towels are well past it glory days, the furniture were like picked randomly from second hand shop…\nService: front desk were ok, but some of them were kind of rude (which quite unusual with most of Thai staff in hospitality sector).\nThe housekeeping definitely needs more training… the room was not properly cleaned, still hair in the shower and no bin bags…\nLocation: it’s quite far from centre (major attractions) so needs public transport. We tried the Light Rail (as it’s the closest station) on first day, but quickly realised it doesn’t really get you very far. We decided to use taxi for the rest of the trip…\nOn the other hand, it’s pretty much the same distance to the airport as to the centre.\nOverall, it’s a dated hotel, could use some upgrades even just get new towel, sheets, and more training done with the staff."
