"I really like this hotel. The lobby is really bright and inviting. Pool/bar area. Friendly and helpful staff. Proper soundproof. I’d stay there again. They also have a washing machine / dryer available. Also no many kids in the pool which is refreshing"

"Rating: 9/10\nStayed: 6D5N (1 X Superior Room With 2 Single Beds)\n\nOverall Experience:\nPleasant and super comfortable — especially the bed, which was amazing and made sleeping really enjoyable.\n\nRoom:\nThe room was clean, spacious, and exactly like the photos. I especially liked the cozy lighting — it gave the space a warm and relaxing feel.\n\nThere were just a few small issues:\n- The metal drain in the bathroom could use some fixing or a bit of cleaning.\n- One of the ceiling lights flickered softly.\n- The TV didn’t have Netflix or YouTube, which was a bit of a letdown.\n\nLocation:\nOnly slight downside is that it’s a bit far from central Bangkok. For example, it took around 35 minutes by Grab to places like Wat Arun and Wat Pho. So just plan your travel time accordingly.\n\nService:\nAll the staff were friendly and welcoming. During check-in, I needed to store my luggage and they handled it smoothly. Every time I walked past, the staff would smile and even open the door for me — really thoughtful!\nI used housekeeping once, and they made my bed look brand new. Great service overall.\n\nFacilities:\nDidn’t get to try the pool, but it looked just like the Google photos — very Instagrammable.\nWi-Fi was fast and reliable.\n\nWhat really stood out to me was the gym — super impressive! It was spacious and well-equipped, and even had towels, hand sanitizer, and bottled water provided. Honestly didn’t expect that level of detail and care.\n\nWhat Could Be Improved:\n- Flickering room light\n- Bathroom metal drain\n- Add Netflix/YouTube to TV\n\nWould I Return?\nAbsolutely — 100% yes. Cool place, great service, comfy bed, and a gym that exceeded expectations. Would definitely stay here again!"

"This is my third time staying at Craftsman Hotel. While I’ve always felt the staff service was lacking, I kept coming back because the rooms offered decent value for the price. Unfortunately, this most recent stay has confirmed that it’s not worth returning.\n\nI booked the Executive Suite for two nights. Right after checking in, I noticed a strong weed smell in the room coming from somewhere nearby. I reported it to the staff, but they didn’t take any meaningful action — in fact, they forgot about it entirely until I reminded them later. At first, they offered to downgrade me to a smaller room as the only option. No effort was made to find the source of the smell.\n\nEventually, they did offer to upgrade the room — but that only happened at 11 PM on the last night of my stay, which felt too little, too late.\n\nThe overall service experience was consistently poor. The same male staff with glasses handled both my check-in and check-out. Both times, he was rude and dismissive, speaking in a dissatisfied tone. During check-out, he was on his phone and didn’t acknowledge me until I had to call him twice. He didn’t apologize and just snatched the keycard off the counter.\n\nStaff here seem either completely untrained or badly trained. I used to overlook it because of the room value, but after this stay, I won’t be returning."
