35 Bow Hotel

"The worst hotel we experienced.\n\nSince we stepped in to the lobby, receptionist greeted us ‘เช็กอินเหรอจ๊าาาา‘ . It was quite wired and informal for the hotel where is located in the center of Bangkok. She did not confirm our reservation and asked for a while for checking the room that it was ready to be checked-in or not despited the fact that it was 16.30 hrs. Normally, check-in time is 14.00 hrs. and it was not busy or fully-booked at the moment. Secondly, we noticed one of bell boy was sitting at the lobby and was preoccupied with his mobile phone, did not offer assistant or anything, still looking at his phone. The nightmare was there is a nightclub at the lobby and the noise is extremely annoying. We asked for change the room at the middle of the night from 2nd floor to 6th floor but it was negative. Music and the bass are too loud and we could hear the noise from the lobby to the 6th floor. What we got the answer from night reception was ‘บอกเค้าให้ลดเสียงแล้วแต่ได้เท่านี้และเปิดบริการถึงตีสี่‘. Who can sleep? This is completely disaster. Just the first and last time they got our money."

"11 days of Thailand trip, we decided staying at this hotel for a few days. Location wise it was perfect for us. We both didn’t like busy area and here we have train/bus/taxi you name it.\n\nA good sized standard room for two people. Bathroom is ok(We’ve checked in twice. One time when check in the toilet was not cleaned properly.😢)\n\nHousekeeping is good. Whenever you need, you can call in the front and will get you anything easy.\n\nWe had an incident that when we’re out the room was cleaned. Then, there was a missing item. Of course, requested an explanation. But, all they had to say was that checking cctv and get back to us. Surely nothing suspicious they found. (It was a brand new boxed cosmetic lotion about US$60 worth) Anyway, it was our fault leaving unpacked luggages in the room without signing ‘Do not disturb’ up which, anyway, didn’t work on buttons when taking the room card away from the slot.\n\nWifi is great as long as it is connected.\nGiven password is correct, but, just doesn’t work easy. Won’t connect easy as… @_@;..\nHowever, once connected it is all good.\n\nAnd hot water is not available. Just a regular warm water is the best they can offer. If you are sensitive with water temperature. Skip this hotel.\n\nAC is working perfect. Not as noisy as other old hotels;;\n\nYou have to buy drinking water from shops. But, there are two bottles in fridge ready to drink for free. The taste a little funny for me. But, when cold it was ok. In this trip, we decided to use a shower filter head. (We’ve heard about the water conditions in Thailand)\nUsed it for four days… wow, the filter is like that;;; @_@;;\nJust keep that in mind.\n\nOverall, the location wise, we chose this hotel. So, it worked out really good for us.👍"
