The First One Madrid Preciados

"We loved our stay! Everyone was very sweet and welcoming. Our room was clean and beautiful. Good breakfast. Best of all the location was near many restaurants and walking distance to many popular areas. Will definitely stay here again on our next trip."

"First and foremost, we had an amazing couple of nights here. Our room was ready well before the scheduled check in time and the staff was so friendly. The location is perfect- right in the middle of everything you could want from restaurants and pubs, night life, shopping, etc. we did not eat any meals at the hotel so I cannot comment on that. The room was beautiful and had character, and the bed was very comfortable. With this in mind, I do want to note a couple of things that others have mentioned. These did not impact my experience personally but may help others in making a decision, so this is not meant to be negative, but instead for your information. The room we had was small. There is not enough room to place luggage anywhere without having to step over it. The bathrooms are also very small, so if you are larger, it may be hard to get into the shower or use the toilet comfortably. Again, this was not a big deal to me. Lastly, with being in a desired location comes noise. This is something that the hotel cannot control. The windows do an excellent job of keeping most of it out, but obviously can’t do everything. All in I would recommend this hotel and would stay here again when I come back to Madrid!"

"The other reviews, noting the incredibly small size of the rooms, is completely accurate. These rooms are the smallest you will ever see, where you are not able to open a suitcase other than on the bed. What I have not seen noted in previous reviews, is the fact that the toilet space is literally smaller than an aircraft toilet! You have to step away from the toilet, just to finish the job! I am sorry that google won't allow me to upload a photo of that. The other issue that I have is that the coffee they provide in the room is a complete joke, with two "capsules" which provide a minuscule amount of coffee. The location is great."
