"I stayed here 5 months, I would say the only good side is it’s near the university.\n\nThe shared space are tidy and comfortable, so that’s nice, but for example the gym is often too crowded.\n\nOther than that, it wasn’t ideal.\n\nThe price is very high considering the room is small and is shared with a stranger, so you have basically zero privacy (I paid 600€ per month). Plus, the room has literally nothing when you enter, not even a fork or a pan, so you have to buy everything.\nI also had the feeling they try to earn money on everything (like if you go ask something to the reception, like a cover or blankets or your keys if you left them in the room, they will make you pay. Like to rent a cover I paid 30€)\n\nAnother downside is that there are no grocery stores or supermarkets in the campus, so you have to move by train (if you don’t have a car). It’s also quite far from the center (~40 mins, you need to take the train and then the metro).\n\nAnother thing is, they ask you for a deposit (800€) MONTHS before you come in and they gave it back minimum 2 months after you leave. In my case, they took away some extra money (~60€), for reasons that weren’t well explained in the contract.\n\nSo, I would say it would have been better to rent a room in a shared apartment, so that you can have a minimum of privacy at the same price and have cutlery."

"Great place for visiting Autonoma University. Hotel is on campus, offering spacious studio flats with kitchenettes. Very clean. You can sometimes hear the student hall in the other wing of the building though, and breakfast is slightly more basic than in other hotels, but good. Very friendly staff, but few speaking any English. Approx. 30 mins from the city centre by train."

"Excellent place yo stay as a research visitor to UAM. Great sunny warm study rooms with a great view of the campus, open 7/24. Incredibly friendly staff and very comfortable facilities (laundry room, cafeteria, gym, play room, lounges). The shower has a very thin thread of water... The rest is perfect. Good work! Totally recommendable. If I ever get back to Madrid this is where I'll stay. Thank you for everything."
