"The location is great. The room was ok, clean. The refrigerator needed to be pulled out because there was no space for it to cool down. We were given access codes that did not work. We arrived around 10PM. A woman who lived in the building happened to come by 20 mins after we got there and let us in through both sets of doors downstairs. She stated that the code hardly ever worked (and she'd let a lot of hotel guests in) and that the hotel is a huge source of frustration for the building. The code also did not work on the main door on the first floor. After trying for 30 mins another guest was leaving and let us in. Only code that worked was on the room door. Got our keys inside the room - they were what worked on the other three doors - the codes never worked. reception is there sparingly and was on the phone with a friend each time and avoided eye contact. If the codes had worked I would recommend but it was such a hassle and thank goodness other people stopped by. Elevator is up a set of stairs and then when you get off you go up another set of stairs - very strange. Disappointing."

"DO NOT RECOMMEND. We arrived at noon and wanted to see if we could leave our bags before checking in at 14:00. The day before, we were given a code to enter the building but it did not work (turns out, the code gets activated at 14:01). Nobody answered when I rang the doorbell at the hotel and nobody answered when I called. I had a conversation with the business on WhatsApp, they took 30 min to answer each message and did not answer my questions directly. I may have been taking to a chatbot.\n\nWe managed to enter the building behind someone else and realized the reception desk was empty. A maid told us the receptionist was sick and didn’t show, but apparently they didn't have a replacement. We left our bags in the luggage storage area, which is accessible to anyone on that floor. So we removed our valuables and passports and hoped our things didn’t get stolen.\n\nWe asked on WhatsApp if we could leave our bags after checking out, and they said that we could "leave the luggage until 16:00, and ring up to reception to let us in" after turning in our keys. The next day when we checked out, reception was still empty, so we paid to leave our bags at a third party luggage storage. Otherwise, we would have been locked out with our bags inside the hotel. It's possible that no one is ever at reception.\n\nLastly, the person (??) I messaged with on WhatsApp gave me the code and room number to a different room, so security at this hotel is clearly not a priority. Since they apparently give out room codes to anyone, and the deadbolt inside the room doesn't work, we wedged a suitcase against the door overnight so that no one else could get in.\n\nThe only reason I am not asking for a refund is because the room was functional, even if there were some hairs on the pillows.\n\nI am 34 years old and this is the worst lodging experience I have ever had. Stay away from this place. I don’t even know how an operation this shady manages to stay in business."

"We were given an access code from our room that was working during the day but when we came back at night it wasn't working anymore and our personal belongings were locked inside. No one from the hostel personnel was around and no one was picking up the phone. We had to call the police and as the last resort, we had to pay 125 euros for another hotel so we wouldn't sleep on the street. We had a child with us but the hostel staff didn’t care. We lost 70 euros for this hostel and another 125 euros for another. THERE ARE ALSO OTHER PEOPLE WITH SIMILAR EXPERIENCE WITH THIS HOSTEL. LOOK AT THE OTHER NEGATIVE REVIEWS."
