"The location is great. If you're staying longer than 3 or 4 days, I'd recommend booking a room that's not too crowded, people come in and out all day and night and it can be a bit difficult to rest properly. Beds are comfortable and warm. Breakfast is good and free. Not all showers have hot water, but the ones that do have, work perfectly. Staff are very friendly and if you're leaving the city a couple of hours after check-out, you can leave your luggage at the hostel for free. I'd definitely stay again if I'm coming back to Madrid."

"Pros: Good location, close to the city center, AC in our room, organized activities like free walking tour, flamenco show and pub crawl that you can book or start from the hostel. Free sangria at night and the opportunity to meet others. Front desk staff were super helpful too.\nCons: room smelled terrible, like a mix of onions and feet. Opening the window wasn't much help and also let the warm air in. My first night I was able to sleep a bit but the second night I got no sleep, the mattress and pillow felt like laying on rocks. Overall a positive experience but not the best."

"The main problem with this hostel is that the building is old and it is smelly. A bit renovation of a few parts of the building would do it good. There's a serious lack of toilets. For a floor of people staying there were only 2 toilets which definitely leads to lot of rush. Breakfast nothing great, very basic, not worth it really. Helpful staff. A good thing is they print out your boarding pass for free and also have free sangria nights. Not that bad a place to crash for a short term."
